About Dr. Akshat Pandey

Dr. Akshat is a consultant in adult and pediatric rheumatologist in Indore and has an experience of over 6 years. He specializes in all aspects of musculoskeletal disease in adults and children suffering from joint and back pain to autoimmune inflammatory diseases, such as Rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus, and Vasculitis Scleroderma.

Dr . Akshat Pandey obtained his medical degree and his M.D. in General Medicine from Sri Aurobindo Medical College and PGI, Indore. He then went on to complete his Fellowship in Rheumatology from Waikato Hospital, Hamilton New Zealand, PG Diploma Rheumatology from the University of South Wales, Cardiff UK, and MSc in Rheumatology from Waikato Hospital, Hamilton New Zealand.

Dr . Akshat Pandey worked as a Consultant Rheumatologist, HOD and Consultant In-Charge the Department of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology at Apollo Hospitals, Indore, and was then promoted as a Hon. Adjunct Asso. Professor at Apollo Hospitals. He was also appointed as a Hon. Secretary IMA CGP, MP.

At present, he is the Joint secretary IMA-Indore. His valuable study on Ankylosing Spondylitis, Vasculitis, and metabolic bone illnesses has advanced our understanding of the disease. His work extends beyond diagnosing and treating advanced arthritis and joint ailments. Dr. Pandey is the only doctor from India to receive a EULAR bursary for attending the EULAR Postgraduate course in Belgrade, Serbia, in 2017. He is a member of the British Society of Rheumatology(BSR) and European Lupus society and also a member of the Emerging EULAR network(EMEUNET) and International osteoporosis federation.
