About Dr. Rutviz Mistry
Dr. Rutviz Mistry is one of Gujarat’s most qualified and best Rheumatologists. He did his MBBS from B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, and his Post-Graduation (MD) from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. After doing his MD (Masters in Medicine), he did a Super specialty in Rheumatology (DM Rheumatology) from the prestigious Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences(SGPGIMS).
During his DM training, he got trained with Dr. Ramnath Misra and Dr.Amita Agrawal, pioneers of Rheumatology in Asia. He got robust exposure to outdoor, indoor, and emergency care in Adult as well as Paediatric Rheumatology during his DM training. He is also trained in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and Primary Immune Deficiency disorders. He is currently employed by GMERS Medical College and Hospital in Ahmedabad as a Consultant Rheumatologist. He is also a Visiting Consultant with GCS Medical College, Sterling Hospitals, Epic Hospital, and SAL Hospital.
Dr. Mistry published a lot of articles in journals that were peer-reviewed. He occasionally gave speeches at different conferences. For the work “Evidence of Inflammation Amplification By Interleukin-6 and Interleukin-17A in Synovial Compartment of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis – Enthesitis Related Arthritis,” he was honored with a Travel Grant for Oral Presentation by the Indian Council of Medical Research. Apart from clinical practice, he is deeply interested in academics and research work. His area of interest is Rheumatoid Arthritis, Vasculitis, and Lupus.
