About Dr. Vaibhav Tandon

Dr. Vaibhav Tandon specializes in Neuromuscular Disorders. He is proficient in treating different neurological disorders and has been trained for providing treatment for acute stroke care in a dedicated comprehensive stroke care center. He is well versed with the nuances of electrophysiology and holds expertise in managing multiple sclerosis. He possesses a particular interest in cognitive neurosciences.

Dr. Tandon earned his medical degree from Government Medical College, Amritsar, and completed his M.D. in Internal Medicine from PGIMER and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi. Dr. Tandon completed his D.M. in Neurology from SCTIMST, Trivandrum, and his Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Neuromuscular Disorders from SCTIMST, Trivandrum.

Dr. Vaibhav Tandon in the past worked as a Post Doctoral Fellow in Neuromuscular Disorders, Department of Neurology at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology. Dr. Tandon has bagged awards in conferences some of which include the best platform presentation in Kerala Association of Neurologists for his study on the utility of vessel wall imaging in the diagnosis of stroke patients. Currently, he is working as an Associate Consultant in the Department of Neurology at Fortis Hospital, Ludhiana. Dr. Tandon has been a part of many national and international conferences about neurological disorders and numerous of his ongoing articles contain his findings regarding neurology, which undoubtedly will deepen our comprehension of neurological problems and open the world’s eyes.

Dr. Tandon believes in keeping his objective straightforward, despite the complexity of his line of work. He believes that teaching others helps us learn more. He aims to create awareness about neurological disorders and provide quality healthcare to patients and make a difference in as many lives as possible. A man of action, he already has a project in hand where he dreams of making a standard neuromuscular care team and a state-of-the-art department where trials of neurotechnology and neuroelectrophysiological tests can do with reports being reliable and reproducible.
