She's Strong,  Her Heart Should Be Too Raising Awareness for Women's Heart Health

Billy Rogers

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in women: Heart disease is a major health concern for women, and it is the leading cause of death in women worldwide. In fact, women are more likely than men to die from heart disease, making it a critical health issue that requires attention and action.

While the risk of heart disease does increase with age, women of all ages can develop heart disease. In fact, heart disease can develop in women as young as their 20s and 30s, especially if they have other risk factors such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or a family history of heart disease.

A heart-healthy diet is rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and healthy fats. Women should aim to limit their intake of saturated and trans fats, sodium, and added sugars.
